Parent Responsibilities and School Guidelines

We believe that a strong partnership between school and home creates the best outcomes for students. To support this partnership and ensure a safe, respectful and productive environment for all, we kindly ask all parents and guardians to follow the guidelines below:

Working Together with Purpose

Punctuality

Students must arrive at school on time and be ready to start their classes.

  • Late arrivals can disrupt the class flow and impact your child’s learning.
  • Repeated lateness may require a follow-up meeting with parents to support punctual habits.

Absences

If your child is absent due to illness or other valid reasons, please inform the school by phone, text, or email as early as possible.

  • Medical certificates may be requested for extended absences.
  • Regular attendance is essential for academic progress and social development.

Early Leave

If your child needs to leave school early for any reason (appointments, family matters, etc.), please notify the school beforehand.

  • A written note, email, or phone call from a parent/guardian is required.
  • Students will only be released to authorised adults listed on the school records unless otherwise informed.

Alternative Pick-Up

If someone other than the usual parent/guardian is collecting the child, please inform the teacher or administration in advance.

  • Provide the full name and relationship of the person picking up the child.
  • For safety reasons, we will not release a child to an unknown person without prior notice and verification.

Attendance Expectations

Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes regularly.

  • Absences without valid reasons (such as illness, family emergencies, or approved leave) are discouraged.
  • Extended or repeated unexplained absences may affect academic progress and lead to a follow-up with school leadership.

Dress Code

Students must follow the school’s dress code policy.

  • Clothing must be clean, modest, and appropriate for school activities.
  • Students must wear proper, closed shoes at all times for safety.
  • We encourage students to take pride in their appearance as a reflection of self-respect and school spirit.

Behaviour and Discipline

Students must show respect to teachers, staff, fellow students, and school property.

  • Behaviour should reflect Islamic etiquette (Adab), including using kind speech, avoiding gossip or backbiting, and showing patience and cooperation.
  • Discipline is based on guidance, reflection, and compassion rather than punishment.

Safety and Wellbeing

The safety, wellbeing, and emotional development of each student is a top priority.

  • Bullying, harassment, or discrimination of any kind is not tolerated.
